Isobel is growing increasingly inquisitive. She crawls at a pretty fast pace now and as soon as she sees an open door, she’s there like a shot, eager to see what’s out there.
She’ll almost fall out of her high chair straining her neck to see what’s going on, first with her little brows furrowed in puzzlement and then with widened eyes, terrified that she’ll miss anything. She’s got the Donaldson curiosity alright. Or nosiness, as some not so kind people might want to call it.
Isobel seems to be in training at the moment. Crawling at furious speed, then stopping to stretch her legs and stick her bottom in the air, as though she was on a sprinter’s starting block. We assume she is preparing to take her first steps. But until such times, she’s making do with reaching out and grabbing just about anything that comes into view.
I say “anything”, but actually, she seems to prefer remote controls, mobiles phone, cables and computers. So perhaps I mean, anything that’s of any value!
You wonder quite what she makes of continually being told “That’s not for you” before the item is
unceremoniously removed from her hands. If we’re really quick, we might even manage to remove it BEFORE it has become a teething toy.
Let’s leave the final
word to Izzy…
